The Community Grants program provides financial assistance to community groups and organisations for projects that foster partnerships and collaboration, build capacity, promote social inclusion, and increase community participation.
Funding will support projects that address one of the following categories:
a) Community Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion
b) Community Education & skills Development
c) Partnership and Collaboration
d) Connection to Local Heritage and Community Art Initiatives
Available funding
Applications can be made for funding of up to $10,000 per project.
Program timeframe
Applications can be made all year. Grants must be spent within 12 months of receiving them. Applications must be submitted at least three months prior to the commencement of a project. In exceptional circumstances, an organisation that is partnering with Council may receive retrospect funding up to one (1) month after the delivery of an event or program. Grants must be spent within 12 months of receiving them.
